What is the role of persuasion between a designer and a designer, a designer and a client, a supplier and a demander—and what kind of structure does persuasion create among these dynamics? Let’s ponder the collaborative relationship that culminates in creation, not the competitive winner-loser dynamic. In this case, the subject of combat is not one another but what hinders us from achieving better outcomes: the lack of imagination, prejudice, failure to understand, and selfishness. How can we use persuasion as a collaborative tool that helps us reach the best possible result? Ordinary People reflects on a past project to contemplate not only how to “persuade” but also “be persuaded” in order to accomplish better results.
